The service

VocabSharp is a vocabulary learning app that helps you replace wordy, vague phrases with precise words. We provide daily word delivery, spaced repetition review, AI-powered sentence feedback, and progress tracking.

Your account

An account is optional. You can use VocabSharp without signing in — your data stays in your browser. If you create an account (via email sign-in), you get cloud sync across devices.

You're responsible for maintaining access to your email address. We use passwordless sign-in (one-time codes), so your email is your key.

Your data

You own your learning data. You can export it or delete your account at any time from the Profile page. See our Privacy Policy for details on what we collect and how it's stored.

Acceptable use

Please use VocabSharp as intended — for learning vocabulary. Don't:

• Abuse API endpoints or attempt to overwhelm the service.
• Scrape or bulk-download the word database.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent rate limits.

AI-generated content

VocabSharp uses AI (Anthropic's Claude) to evaluate practice sentences and, in rare cases, generate word data. AI-generated feedback is provided for educational purposes and may not always be perfectly accurate. Use your judgment.

Limitation of liability

VocabSharp is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep the service running and your data safe, but we're not liable for data loss, service interruptions, or inaccuracies in word data or AI feedback.

Termination

You can stop using VocabSharp at any time. Delete your account from the Profile page to remove all server-side data. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll note the updated date at the top. Continued use of VocabSharp after changes constitutes acceptance.
